Raw Thunder was formed solely to fulfil the demand of the music of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Music lovers all over Malaysia seem to always request bands performing to play songs of that era.
Raw Thunder has always stuck to its forte, which is performing these songs, but rest assured, and they also perform current hits to cater to the needs of the younger generation of music lovers.
The band RAW THUNDER is made up of TWO experienced musicians who are also apt at singing.
Raw Thunder’s motto is to entertain people from all walks of life, be it at corporate functions, wedding functions or various kinds of events, in a pub or even in a club. Raw Thunder is totally at ease customising its music as per an event. I.e., Country and Western, Oldies, Rock and Roll, blues, pop, rock and many more.
Jerry is a guitarist and singer with vast experience performing all over Malaysia with various bands. Has been performing for more than 30 years. Formed “Raw Thunder” in 2005 to be able to handle all kinds of events. Sings all kinds of songs with a penchant for country and rock numbers. Versatile guitarist and bassist. Plays also in a fusion band with classical instruments and percussions.
Maya is a singer who has travelled widely to different countries performing on stage.
With more than 20 years of experience. Very comfortable in doing rock standards with
a wide range. Also apt at ballads and sings in a few different languages, too. A very
bubbly person who is very serious in her singing and has excellent pr skills with
customers.
