Mixing up a blend of RnB, jazz and hip hop both old and new in her music. Singer/songwriter Shonanis is a new solo artist to the UK market with a prolific record of previous collaborations and international success.

She’s been around the London urban scene for several years variously working with artists like Gizla, Laconic Sudz of Sounds Superior, Estelle and So Solid Crew; she laid down numerous singles with Nutty N’R’G picking up a “Best Original Produced Track” Award after launching her career as a teenager scoring two international number 1 singles.

Shonanis has performed at gigs like the Mobo Awards, Spit, Oceans (with Heartless Crew and Tubby T), Umta, Respect Festival at the Millennium Dome, Trap, BBC Club, Croydon College, Wandsworth Youth Scheme (with So Solid Crew) and Black History Week; and with her first British solo EP now on digital release expect to see her singing like an angel at a club near you soon.

International vocalist, Stacey Swanson, is an incredibly versatile singer who performs a vast array of musical styles including soul, blues & jazz and popular music. Stacey’s passion for music stems from early childhood when she would secretly record herself singing along to great singers such as Celine Dion. Stacey went on to study music following school where she began to explore herself as an artist, as a singer and performer, developing a great appreciation for Jazz and Blues artists such as Billie Holiday, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald.

In her late teens Stacey endured some personal traumas and in seeking solace she found Joni Mitchell, ‘I was in awe of Joni during this time, it sounds cliché but her music helped me to find my way through some difficult times. Joni’s arrangements and lyrical ability are second to none’. Stacey has worked for Yamaha Music Schools teaching group keyboard lessons to children, and also taught privately.

In 2002 Stacey performed original music in Barcelona and Madrid with guitarist Miguel Vico Sanchez, receiving record company interest. In 2006 after graduating with a degree in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music, Stacey performed throughout the UK and Europe with North East Cabaret band V, became lead singer of original band ‘The Drop’ before leaving in 2008 to spend the summer season performing on the Greek isle of Kos.

Developing herself as a singer/songwriter, in early 2009 Stacey made it to the regional finals of unsigned competition ‘Live and Unsigned’. Armed with a new sound, songs, passion and determination, there is a bright and exciting future ahead.

She’s been in few bands including “Rhapsody” – RnB, jazzy original material band, “TokyoBlue” – instrumental Jazz band and actively performing at various venues such as, Bangkok Jazz, Groove Junction, The Attic – bangsar, No Black Tie, Laundry, La Bodega, The Apartment, private launches, weddings, hotels (Impiana Hotel, Istana Hotel, Sheraton Hotel), playing jazz standards, RnB, funk, soul and top 40s.

Began formal music lessons at age five for piano. Studied under a number of renowned teachers including music maestro, the late Lawrence Gomez. By age seven, he was performing for family gatherings, weddings and church. Graduated from Hammond Academy of Music at age twenty as piano and organ instructor. Eddie formed his first band ‘The Guys’ in 1983. During this time, he began picking up various musical instruments namely the guitar, bass, drums, ukulele and vibraphone amongst others to improve his general musicianship.

The next two years saw him venturing alone as a solo pianist at various hotel lobby lounges around Peninsular Malaysia. He then formed four-piece outfit, “Andromeda” which performed at local clubs and was soon discovered by the Jazz Fusion group “Sketsa”, which consisted of music greats Razak Rahman, Johari Teh, Wan Carefree and Daniel Soliano Guerzo and was invited to play piano and keyboards for them. After a two years stint with Sketsa, Eddie joined Singapore based show-band “Fredo & The Flinstones” who earned rave reviews wherever they performed.

In 1990, after much traveling in and around the South East Asean region, he based himself in Kuala Lumpur and joined “The Pieces”, resident band of The Royal Selangor Club. Eddie assumed leadership of the band two years later and continued performing there for a total of six years before taking “The Pieces” to the Royal Lake Club for a one-year stint. During this time he had the opportunity to perform for a wide array of VVIP’s, VIP’s, heads of state, and local /foreign dignitaries, amongst others. It was also around this time that Eddie was introduced to Johari Salleh, the then Music Director and Conductor of the RTM Orchestra, and was given his first opportunity at doing studio sessions and worked on various projects under the valuable guidance of Johari.

At Booty Studios, he was assigned to manage the day-to-day operations, overseeing studio recordings and the administration department, which comprised one chief engineer, four assistant engineers and seven administration staff. Here, he had the opportunity to work with and alongside some of the best musicians, singers, engineers, producers and arrangers of this generation, amongst them, Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin, Search, Sandii Suzuki, Randy Bernsen, Steve Thornton, Roslan Aziz and Guy Gray to name a few.

Leonard Da Silva Jazz Trio one of Malaysia’s hippest trios. This band bring a hugely infectious enthusiasm and energy to their music-making. A regular on the Penang music circuit, band leader Leornard Da Silva is a film composer and music educator as well as a consummate keyboards-player; while young veteran drummer Jonathan Scully hails from a family of well-known musicians, and in 2007 was named Best Drummer in the Malaysian Band Competition.

Completing the line-up is bassist Sam, who has played with bands in both the UK and Australia, as well as throughout Malaysia. There are the house band at the renowned Spice ‘N’ Rice restaurant in Penang, and have also played at numerous prestigious hotels and restaurants on the island, including G Hotel, Bagan, Rasa Sayang Hotel and Golden Sands Hotel.

Their repertoire covers everything from well-loved jazz standards to favourite pop songs and funk numbers. Sample songs: All Of Me, Girl From Ipanema, Autumn Leaves, Cantaloupe Island, Mercy Mercy, One Note Samba, My Favourite Things, Sunny, Feels So Good.

Deanne is one of the world’s foremost and best-respected look-alike models / sound-alike singers. Diana Ross is probably one of the most famous female artistes in the world and although the thought of staging her at your venue may seem ‘pie in the sky’, staging the ultimate Diana Ross Look-Alike Tribute may not.

Deanne’s modelling and singing assignments as Diana Ross have taken her to over 40 countries worldwide including: Japan, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, Abi Dhabi, Bahrain, India, Eygpt, Israel, Russia, South Africa, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, including most European countries, to name a few!

Deanne can stay in character, if required, to mix and mingle with guests after her performance. Deanne also performs with her own backing tracks for either a 20, 30 or 45 minute spot, singing all the major Diana Ross hits from the 60s Supremes classics to the present day hits, such as: Chain Reaction, Love Hangover, Endless Love, When You Tell Me That You Love Me.

Deanne has done backing vocals professionally from the age of 18 at the historic Wembley Stadium for artists such as: Sir Elton John, George Michael, Queen and Mick Hucknall from Simply Red. Deanne has also worked for the real Diana Ross as a stand-in for the Diana Ross International Fan Club, USA, in Germany. Deanne personifies the height of smouldering sophistication that sizzles on stage and off, an experience not to be missed!

A voice steeped in Soul, Blues and RnB, Mike Mayfield is reminiscent of those timeless artists who not only sang, but wrote and played their songs. Effortlessly joining together his outstanding talents as a multi-instrumentalist with his timeless song-writing, results in the collection of songs before you that are honest and real with messages for our time. With themes that range from love, in the song “Shelter in your eyes”, to the loss in “I wanna Believe”, to the need to bring about change in “Change is the only certainty”, and the frustrations held within ambition, in the groove based “Someday”. These songs and the ones he has yet to write, do, and will always connect with people of all ages and from every walk of life.

On stage the multi-instrumentalist turns into the performer, and witnessing a show with the outstanding full band is electrifying, and also gives Mayfield a chance to showcase his consummate abilities to improvise. Hence fully appreciating and experiencing this eclectic but forward looking artist described by the Daily Mail as “the most exciting artist of 2009 and beyond”, can only be done by both listening to the records and seeing the live shows.

6 months as lead vocalist of Vocal Trio. Performed at 3 of India’s major 5 star hotels.

Lead vocalist of Vocal Duo including regular performances at The Regatta Hotel and Conrad Jupiter Casino. Various private functions.

2003
Currently one of 3 vocalists in Brisbane’s best Corporate Show Band. Regular Performances at all major hotels and venues in Brisbane the Gold and Sunshine Coast including; Hilton Hotel, Sheraton Mirage, Twin Water Resorts, Hyatt Resorts, Convention Center, Movie World, Dream World and Sea World, Haymon Island, Hamilton Island, Kakadu National Park ect.

2004
-Toured internationally with “Shane Simmonds”, Brisbane based recording artist. Travelled to Malaysia and performed at various venues.
-Toured to Hong Kong for 3 months with HONEY SHOW BAND. Performed at 5 star Hotel 6 nights a week.
