Quintette features some of the best female jazz musicians in and around London. The group consists of trumpet/flugelhorn, tenor sax, piano, double bass, and drums. However, the ensemble can also feature the sensational vocalist, Sumudu Jayatilaka.

Quintette is a unique band. Not only is it an all-female ensemble, but all the music they perform has been specially arranged to feature the individual players in the group.

Quintette performs music from an extensive repertoire. As well as popular jazz numbers from artists such as Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, Glenn Miller, and Frank Sinatra, Quintette also writes jazz arrangements of well known pop tunes from The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, and Stevie Wonder for example, and of Classical composers such as Bach or Elgar. The group can arrange any particular piece of music in advance at the client’s request.

This spectacular group of musicians is available for parties, weddings, dances, corporate events, dinners and for background music.

 Jimmy is an American pianist and singer and has lived in Thailand for more than 8 years.

He sings and plays  in the genre of the Great American Songbook, Romantic Ballads, Classic Jazz, Cool Bossa Novas, Quiet Dinner Music and Sophisticated Pop (Michael Buble/Norah Jones).

She’s been around the London urban scene for several years variously working with artists like Gizla, Laconic Sudz of Sounds Superior, Estelle and So Solid Crew; she laid down numerous singles with Nutty N’R’G picking up a “Best Original Produced Track” Award after launching her career as a teenager scoring two international number 1 singles.

Shonanis has performed at gigs like the Mobo Awards, Spit, Oceans (with Heartless Crew and Tubby T), Umta, Respect Festival at the Millennium Dome, Trap, BBC Club, Croydon College, Wandsworth Youth Scheme (with So Solid Crew) and Black History Week; and with her first British solo EP now on digital release expect to see her singing like an angel at a club near you soon.

International vocalist, Stacey Swanson, is an incredibly versatile singer who performs a vast array of musical styles including soul, blues & jazz and popular music. Stacey’s passion for music stems from early childhood when she would secretly record herself singing along to great singers such as Celine Dion. Stacey went on to study music following school where she began to explore herself as an artist, as a singer and performer, developing a great appreciation for Jazz and Blues artists such as Billie Holiday, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald.

In her late teens Stacey endured some personal traumas and in seeking solace she found Joni Mitchell, ‘I was in awe of Joni during this time, it sounds cliché but her music helped me to find my way through some difficult times. Joni’s arrangements and lyrical ability are second to none’. Stacey has worked for Yamaha Music Schools teaching group keyboard lessons to children, and also taught privately.

In 2002 Stacey performed original music in Barcelona and Madrid with guitarist Miguel Vico Sanchez, receiving record company interest. In 2006 after graduating with a degree in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music, Stacey performed throughout the UK and Europe with North East Cabaret band V, became lead singer of original band ‘The Drop’ before leaving in 2008 to spend the summer season performing on the Greek isle of Kos.

Developing herself as a singer/songwriter, in early 2009 Stacey made it to the regional finals of unsigned competition ‘Live and Unsigned’. Armed with a new sound, songs, passion and determination, there is a bright and exciting future ahead.

With years of performance experiences under her belt, Ywenna is no stranger to local music scene. As a pianist, Ywenna displays a gutsy versatility in any genre. She’s been in few bands including “Rhapsody” – RnB, jazzy original material band, “TokyoBlue” – instrumental Jazz band and actively performing at various venues such as, Bangkok Jazz, Groove Junction, The Attic – bangsar, No Black Tie, Laundry, La Bodega, The Apartment, private launches, weddings, hotels (Impiana Hotel, Istana Hotel, Sheraton Hotel), playing jazz standards, RnB, funk, soul and top 40s.

She also plays for Digi Starbucks Music Series 2004, ‘Penang island jazz festival’ fringe stage ‘06, ‘Genting international jazz festival’ preview ’08, RTM Unplugged Konser Prihatin Palestin 2009, Hunny Madu EP launch at No Black Tie 2009.

Deanne is one of the world’s foremost and best-respected look-alike models / sound-alike singers. Diana Ross is probably one of the most famous female artistes in the world and although the thought of staging her at your venue may seem ‘pie in the sky’, staging the ultimate Diana Ross Look-Alike Tribute may not.

Deanne’s modelling and singing assignments as Diana Ross have taken her to over 40 countries worldwide including: Japan, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, Abi Dhabi, Bahrain, India, Eygpt, Israel, Russia, South Africa, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, including most European countries, to name a few!

Deanne can stay in character, if required, to mix and mingle with guests after her performance. Deanne also performs with her own backing tracks for either a 20, 30 or 45 minute spot, singing all the major Diana Ross hits from the 60s Supremes classics to the present day hits, such as: Chain Reaction, Love Hangover, Endless Love, When You Tell Me That You Love Me.

Deanne has done backing vocals professionally from the age of 18 at the historic Wembley Stadium for artists such as: Sir Elton John, George Michael, Queen and Mick Hucknall from Simply Red. Deanne has also worked for the real Diana Ross as a stand-in for the Diana Ross International Fan Club, USA, in Germany. With themes that range from love, in the song “Shelter in your eyes”, to the loss in “I wanna Believe”, to the need to bring about change in “Change is the only certainty”, and the frustrations held within ambition, in the groove based “Someday”. Hiroko graduated from Trinity College of Music in London with BMus (Piano) after completing her degree in English Literature in Japan. Since then, she has been performing in various venues in various styles from Classical to Bossa Nova, Jazz and Pop.

She toured around the Black Sea as a classical musician with Swan Hellenic. She also performed in ICA and the Spitz with her former band,Ohayo-Samba and released 2 compilation Albums in UK and Japan. She also performed Live on Resonance FM and appeared in a Japanese Pop Magazine for 6 months.

Now she performs as a cocktail pianist for weddings and parties and even entertains Children’s parties! She is also a music teacher in private schools in London and Kent and she is passing on her musical passion to young children.
