Sensations excels in setting the audience to the right mood and creating the atmosphere with that extra touch of class.

Collin

Collin was born into a family of musicians. At a tender age of 3 years old he was strumming his Hofner guitar with his older siblings. At 10 yrs old he was jamming with the famous Bongo Joe (Joseph Chelliah) of Jay Hawkers who was the group leader of his older brother, Charles.

He never looked back and became an idol in his secondary school days. After attending college, he team-up with his cousin, Winston Lewis an accomplish keyboardist/vocalist who had a great influence in his keyboard skills, and pub-hop the musical scene.

With confidence of these escapades he formed the Depth 5 and performed for functions of Corporates and VIPS like Shell, Esso, Mobil, Petronas and Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah and Tan Sri Khir Johari respectively. When Helix was launch in Malaysia, he worked together with Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleel of Shell Malaysia to mix and launch the theme song at the opening ceremony.

In 2002, Collin together with Noel Suzartee and Felix Gomez form Ghost Riders and took the local scene by storm even edging the famous Os Pombos and Southern Rain. They were the band for the well-educated folks at PJ Club, KGNS and part of the furniture in Country Barn & Tristanos, Subang Jaya, the latter being own by the famous Jazz pianist Tano Soliono.

From then on Collin formed his own band called the SENSATIONS.

He is a gifted musician with perfect pitch that when he listens to a new song once he is able to play it in a jiffy on any instrument. He has many voicing to the songs that he sings therefore harmonizing it blends in with the music he renders such as ballads, country, jazz, broadway, rock & rolls and top 40s. He carries various vocal signatures from Jim Reeves to Bee Gees and Robin Gibb.

Shireen, a brilliant pianist in the performing arena. Her musical skills developed through formal piano education at 9 years of age with the Assiociate Board Of The Royal Schools Of Music of classical training and since then had taken it up towards jazz styles.

Over the years, playing for hotel lounge and for private and corporate functions, had enhanced her performing skills as a professional pianist.

Shireen handles the instrumental numbers with great feel, playing Lounge Numbers, Commercial Songs, Jazz Standards and Classical Pieces. With a wide range of repetoires collected she is able to organize appropriate songs to suite the occasion too.

She has become versatile to various music arrangements that improvising them extended her capabilities to play as desired, therefore loves composing and writing lyrics to her song as her hobby and that has broadened her horizons. Having mastered the keys, harmonizing good music had trained her ears to be acute to pitch and her musical style varies to enhance the music ambience.

As a professional musician, her remarkable touch on the piano comes from regular practise while her sight reading adds talent to her musicianship.

With all these experiences Shireen began to twine her natural singing talent by joining various bands. Like a songbird her vocals are sweet and clear, revelling in Pop Ballads to Oldies and Evergreens to Jazz singing with ease. She is the perfect choice as her vocals and her keyboard skills is an asset to the Sensations band.

With her, Sensations can package an entertainment assortment for any entertainment outlet, like a pianist(solo) for High-Tea and a Duet performance for a show.

Eden Green was formed solely to fulfil the demand of the music of the 60’s and 70’s. Music lovers all over Malaysia seem to always request bands performing to play songs of that era. Eden Green has always stuck to their forte which is performing these songs. Eden Green’s motto is to entertain people of all walks of life, be it at a corporate function, various kinds of events, in a pub or even in a club.

The band Eden Green is made up of 4 experienced musicians who are also apt at singing.
1)JP: Lead Guitar/Vocals
An experienced lead guitarist who hails from a family of seasoned musicians and has played all over Malaysia with various bands before deciding to form Eden Green. Well known for his guitar licks and plays with the utmost ease with his Gibson Les Paul which he bought while in Sierra Leone.

2)Chriss Little: Drums/Vocals
A smile says a thousand words and this guy is always smiling but at his drums he generates rhythms and beats that get everyone in the mood. An exceptional drummer who harmonizes well with the group.

3)Thevindaran: Keyboards/Vocals
The baby of the band but a wizard on the keyboards with fingers that produce great sounds. A passion for the songs of the 60’s and 70’s and totally at ease singing them.

4)Jerry: Bass/ Vocals
Has played with various bands but always returning to the music he loves: Country & Old School. Last played in Kuala Lumpur with David Mark (The Voice) and gang. Sings lots of country and even real oldies from all time greats.

Lawrence Gomez began formal music lessons at age five for piano. Studied under a number of renowned teachers

Began formal music lessons at age five for piano. Studied under a number of renowned teachers including music maestro, the late Lawrence Gomez. By age seven, he was performing for family gatherings, weddings and church. Graduated from Hammond Academy of Music at age twenty as piano and organ instructor. Eddie formed his first band ‘The Guys’ in 1983. During this time, he began picking up various musical instruments namely the guitar, bass, drums, ukulele and vibraphone amongst others to improve his general musicianship.

The next two years saw him venturing alone as a solo pianist at various hotel lobby lounges around Peninsular Malaysia. He then formed four-piece outfit, “Andromeda” which performed at local clubs and was soon discovered by the Jazz Fusion group “Sketsa”, which consisted of music greats Razak Rahman, Johari Teh, Wan Carefree and Daniel Soliano Guerzo and was invited to play piano and keyboards for them. After a two years stint with Sketsa, Eddie joined Singapore based show-band “Fredo & The Flinstones” who earned rave reviews wherever they performed.

In 1990, after much traveling in and around the South East Asean region, he based himself in Kuala Lumpur and joined “The Pieces”, resident band of The Royal Selangor Club. Eddie assumed leadership of the band two years later and continued performing there for a total of six years before taking “The Pieces” to the Royal Lake Club for a one-year stint. During this time he had the opportunity to perform for a wide array of VVIP’s, VIP’s, heads of state, and local /foreign dignitaries, amongst others. It was also around this time that Eddie was introduced to Johari Salleh, the then Music Director and Conductor of the RTM Orchestra, and was given his first opportunity at doing studio sessions and worked on various projects under the valuable guidance of Johari.

At Booty Studios, he was assigned to manage the day-to-day operations, overseeing studio recordings and the administration department, which comprised one chief engineer, four assistant engineers and seven administration staff. Here, he had the opportunity to work with and alongside some of the best musicians, singers, engineers, producers and arrangers of this generation, amongst them, Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin, Search, Sandii Suzuki, Randy Bernsen, Steve Thornton, Roslan Aziz and Guy Gray to name a few.
