Julia is a British saxophonist playing, alto, tenor, soprano, baritone and flute. Also plays 2nd keys and sings backing vocals. Julia began her musical career at the age of 8 playing the cello to grade 8 standard playing and touring Europe with the countries top youth orchestras. Julia later took up the saxophone and after graduating university with first class honors in music and studying for a masters degree in jazz at Leeds Music College she has played professionally for 20 years. Julia has experience playing in a multitude of styles,from pop, R&B, funk, rock and jazz.

Julia is a respected jazz player in the UK and has played many jazz festivals and clubs up and down the country as a solo artist and with her own quartet. Julia has also worked with some of the countries/worlds jazz greats, Alan Barnes (7 times winner of British jazz musician of the year award), Paul Morgan (BBC big Band 20 years and recording artist for people like Bjork), Snake Davis (M People, Take That, Sheena Easton’s sax player). Julia has also made various TV appearances’ including an hour long Master class with Snake Davis

The audience of different countries accepts Nadia in joy. The singer speaks 5 and sings in 18 languages, has a huge repertoire of hits and writing her own songs. She can be truly called a cosmopolitan, studying the culture of the peoples of the world. At the stage she’s light, flying, fun – ignites people with her mood. From 16 years Nadia works professionally as a singer – since then she has provided a wealth of club, private, corporate concerts, performed on big stages, took part in TV and radio broadcasting, won prizes in music competitions and festivals, recorded several albums, performed in advertising, voiced cartoons, jingles, commercials on radio and TV.

Her brilliant voice covers Classic Rock from Led Zeppelin and Jenis Joplin, adapts Abba and Queen of 80-s, remembers Pop-rock of 90-s from Imbruglia to Cranberies, resonates in the nowdays with Katie Perry and Gwen Stefani and takes an inspiration from ancient traditions of Siberian women-shamans singing.

The near future Nadia connects with writing new songs for the album «Good wind songs» , for other artists too, and creating new shows for the program “Musical Journey Around the World.” And what countrys it will be – we will see in the coming year.

Jakub is a jazz guitarist, he was born in 1983 in Wroclaw, Poland. He is a professional educated musicians. He inspired and influenced by musicians such as Howard Alden, Jimmy Bruno, Joe Pass, Django Reinhardt, Tal Farlow, Georgr Van Eps, Barney Kessel and many others. Jakub’s varied repertoire includes many jazz songs, from different periods – since bebop. He have performed solo, in duo and trio many times in Poland, Germany and Czech Republic and USA.

Education and Performing Experience.
1990 – 1997 Elementary music school, piano major for four years, double bass for  four years.  
1997 – 2002  high school.
2001 – 2007 Wroclaw School of Jazz and Popular Music, majoring in jazz guitar, minoring in jazz piano
2007 – 2008 – jazz guitar studies at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, USA
October 2010 – August 2011  work for the Dolls Theater in Wroclaw, Poland  as a guitar player.

Since 2012 collaboration with many jazz and classical musicians instrumentalists and singers, in Germany, Czech Republic and Poland.

With a repertoire ranging from the 1950’s to modern day they are able to offer a musical and interactive performance for any age group. With their original text request system and good humored banter the crowd will feel as much a part of the evening as they wish to be.

Over the past two years they have played for audiences young and old at a variety of venues. They have gained this experience from working for Thompson’s holidays in Turkey and Tenerife at 4 star hotels (the Marmaris Imperial, the H10 Gran Tinerfe), Irish bars in China (McCawleys Irish Bars) or weddings and corporate events all over south east Asia and Australia. They play with two acoustic guitars and harmonizing vocals and have an original take on everything they do.

Mike & Ash perform hits from every era and style with their own special touch. They can produce smooth lounge jazz, beautiful instrumentals to accompany meals and drinks, or lift the energy for dancing and a more party atmosphere with top 40 hits and the best of every decade.

They are characteristically known for their virtuosic performances, contagious energy, constant smiles and ensuring audiences are always enjoying themselves. Flexible and versatile multi instrumentalists Ashley and Michael delight audiences and vary each performance with a range of arrangements from their standard piano and vocals set up, one or two voices, piano and saxophone arrangement and even the occasional piano duet!

Michael and Ashley have performed in countless capacities in bands, recordings and ensembles over the last decade. They were a part of the PPJO Big Band that won the International Big Band Competition in 2002 in Hong Kong.

Professional and flexible Mike & Ash communicate and work closely with a client to ensure they meet and exceed all expectations. Mike & Ash compliment any social setting, whether the client requires tasteful background music, party and dance music or a headline performance these dynamic musicians adapt their song choice and style to suit any audience.

Murut Bamboo Dance (Magunatip) Magunatip, more well-known as “Bamboo Dance”, is considered as one of the most popular dances in Sabah. The name “Magunatip” is derived from the word “apit”, which means “to press between two surfaces.”

In the dance, dancers need good timing and agility to put their feet between the clapping bamboo poles, without being trapped. There are two primary types of bamboo poles arrangement for Magunatip, namely, parallel and cross styles.

To heighten the intensity, the music tempo and the clapping speed of the bamboo will become faster and faster, the audiences will be impressed by the speed of the dance and music by the end.

In the past, Magunatip was a warrior dance to welcome the return of Murut headhunters. Today bamboo dance is commonly performed in cultural functions and celebrations for entertainment and socializing purposes.
